Weekends are all about comfort.
My personal classic go-to: A good cozy knit, broken-in denim, and the international sign of a girl off-duty, the top knot, that makes for easy weekend attire, multi-functional enough to cover all of my bases from running around town to R&R.
Anthropologie has long been my kryptonite and this season is no exception. I scooped up this super soft ruffled top in my signature jade green hue – I’ve loved this color since I was in kindergarten and asked to paint my room the same shade – along with a few other goodies that are guaranteed to pop up on the blog these over the next few weeks.
I scored these DL1961 jeans – a new denim staple in my closet – during Bloomingdale’s Friends & Family a few weeks back, and it’s been love ever since. Finding great denim is kind of like finding a new best friend: It’s a complicated screening process but once you come out the other side, you’re ride and die for life My body has been clad in these nonstop since they arrived on my doorstep. I even flew in them last week and came out unscathed after sitting in my tiny plane seat for 4 hours, which is the sign of some seriously spectacular denim.
And because I’m metallics obsessed, even on the weekend, I love to top off a laid-back outfit with some silver oxfords and mirrored aviators. Happy Sunday, everyone!
