SUNDAYS IN GINGHAM

Gingham has taken spring 2015 by storm and I could not be more on board! The print has an inherently ladylike quality in my mind, so choosing a demure midi skirt to incorporate the pattern was my ideal approach. The cropped tank provided a little edge.. and helped me steer clear of feeling too cutesy. I’ve been gravitating towards longer hemlines this spring, so I picked up this gingham midi during Shopbop’s sale last week and couldn’t wait to break it out. It should get plenty of wear between brunches, drinks with the girls, and nights on the town. I’ve also been on a diehard black and white kick lately, very out of character for my typically colorful palette. But I can’t get enough! Every piece I’ve lusted after lately has been either black or white with interesting details, texture, or trim.
