November and December always prove to be the busiest time of the year for me (I’m sure I’m not alone in that), so outfits that are easy to throw on and get me out the door in a few minutes flat are high up on my priority list.
As much as I love color, working neutrals from head to toe is also a look I gravitate towards often. This palette feels very fall inspired to me: As a kid, burgundy leaves were always my favorite when the trees began to change colors. And with the lack of an authentic fall air here in LA, I’ll take all the help I can get when it comes to generating the feel of fall! In my book, even when traditionally summery hues like white are mixed with shades of beige, camel & tan, it can easily steer clear of a summer vibe.
Leather jackets have a reserved spot in my closet (and my heart) and are represented in nearly every shade, but this bordeaux option holds a particularly special place.
For evenings, I’d usually swap out the crossbody bag and light pink gloss for a clutch and my go-to fall lip shade, but on this particular day, I was feeling more laid-back finishing touches. I recently wore this for a night out with my girls, but it could also easily double for a date (or date night if you’re attached ).
