Who doesn’t have to be conscious of their spending these days?
We have rent and mortgages, tuition or student loans being paid back, car payments, even kiddos for some. And we all know how quickly these things add up, much to our dismay.
But good news! With that in mind, I’ve decided to publish a monthly post or two dedicated to those equally chic yet budget-friendly outfits, featuring items under $100. While I certainly believe in a little indulgence from time to time, I am all about the high/low mix and match, and the hunt for a steal is a big part of that. Isn’t it an amazing feeling with you get those heels you’ve had your eye on for 50% off? Um, so good.
This outfit is particularly inexpensive. And one of my absolute favorites lately! Okay, I’ll admit I did cheat on the purse – sometimes a girl can just not give up her Marc Jacobs – but every other item is under $60. I’ve been in hot pursuit lately of the perfect transitional shirtdress that I can throw on quickly during this busy summer and then layer come fall, and this Lulu’s number was the ticket. I’ve been on a major hat kick lately, so I topped it off with this J.Crew boater hat that is sheer perfection. FYI, I plan on living in it for the rest of the summer. And can we talk about these shades? The color, the shape.. they make me swoon. Destined to be on repeat like there’s no tomorrow.
Is there any particular piece you’re not sure how to style or an item you’re in search of that won’t do serious damage to your bank account? Share it with me – reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org.
