Move over: There’s a new shoe in town.
I’ve always been a heels girl through and through, but when I started my career in television, I quickly had to make other arrangements if there was any hope of salvaging my feet. Since then, I’ve explored every ballet flat and flat boot under the sun, and it seemed due time to give an honorable mention to these Jeffrey Campbell flats. Two words: Like butter. And a complete steal at only $100. I may or may not have them up in black..and maybe red too Hey when you find a goodie, buy multiples.
There’s been an uptick in our fall temperatures here in LA, so I’ve been embracing the whole jacket optional thing as long as humanly possible. Only having to think about one layer makes covering all of your bases far less complicated.
Pairing an oversized chambray with this pencil skirt was perfect for running around town earlier this week. This skirt hits just at the right spot both on my waist and right above the knee, making it uber-flattering.
And I’ll take a geometric pattern any day of the week. A good black-and-white print spices up just about anything (also love this and this black/white option). I’ll be pairing this skirt with most of my fall and winter staples, from cozy cashmere knits to feminine blouses. There’s also a very strong chance I’m going to mix a few prints with it as well (black-and-white stripe anyone?).
Oh..and P.S. OBSESSED with this leather backpack from Zara. And with a price tag of less than $50..I mean come on, completely noncommittal. Done and done.
