MY STYLE

A HINT OF MINT

DSC_2008

When I aim for lady-like, I go all in. DSC_2088DSC_1938DSC_1977DSC_2107DSC_1885DSC_2180

We’re talking the works – full skirts, pastels, feminine accents and delicate details. For me, it all starts with the silhouette. When I want to feel particularly feminine, I gravitate towards full midi skirts, and top it off with a strappy, elegant heel. It may be stemming from my busy bee schedule these past few weeks, but date night dinner called for little more than simple and elegant.

I have been all about prints lately – stripes, palm..you name it – so paring down was a nice change of pace. I’ve also had a love affair with green ever since I can remember, particularly shades of mint, so this top needed to get in my closet..stat. I love the playfulness of the midi skirt – the sheer stripe adds just the right amount of sexy and steers the look away from being too proper.
